I always EQ my guitars and try to get every last bit of awesome tone out of them that I can. I actually use a freeware EQ called "Antares ConsoleEQ", it's pretty shmexy :)

i must say the beggining is very simular as is the "main riff" to The hell song by sum41 but.....WHO cares this was a master piece great punk voice, that was real punk rock music, very the offspring i love it :D :D good song, no GREAT song, gull of energy all the time, always changing thats what punk is all about

Yea, it was weird since it wasn't my inspiration. But they're similer because the beginning note is 3 steps down from the base note ( in this case it's C# ) then the second is the base note. So they use the first 2 notes, which i guess sounds similer since the tempo is near the same :(
